in collaboration with the institute of natural materials technology, tu dresden.

forming fungi is the result of a deep interest in materiality and a curiosity about altenative materials. in this project, design is seen as a tool to explore a living organism, the fungus, from a creative perspective. through an experimental approach, the aesthetic potential of fungi was explored focusing mainly on texture, formability and color.
